McCabe Russell, PA is proud to announce that four attorneys from our firm have been selected for the 2019 Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for their work in Family Law!

• Emily Russell. Partner and firm co-founder Emily Russell has been selected for Rising Stars for the third consecutive year. She is also a Super Lawyers’ Superb Profiled Attorney.
• Catherine Villareale. Attorney Katie Villareale has been named to the Rising Stars list for the first time.
• Shavonne Straughn. Attorney Shavonne Straughn has been named to the Rising Stars list for the first time.
• Lauren Keiser. Attorney Lauren Keiser has been named to the Rising Stars list for the third time.

We are incredibly proud of all four attorneys, and of the work our team does every day on behalf of our divorce and family law clients.

What is the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list?

Super Lawyers “is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.” Founded in 1991, the service publishes a yearly list of attorneys from every state who, having undergone a rigorous and patented evaluation process, meet the degree of achievement necessary for selection.

Rising Stars is a separate list, maintained and curated by Super Lawyers, of attorneys who have achieved those same levels of recognition and achievement, but who have been practicing for fewer than 10 years, or who are under the age of 40. Only 2.5% of all eligible attorneys will actually be named to the Rising Stars list each year.

That is why we are so excited on behalf of our team, for being recognized for selection. As dedicated divorce and family lawyers, we work hard on behalf of our clients to ensure the best possible outcomes in every case.
