Ridhika Kartan is an Associate Attorney at McCabe Russell, P.A. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with an undergraduate degree in political science and earned her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law with a certificate in Human Rights. She also holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from George Washington University.

While in law school, Ridhika served as the President of the Student Bar Association, South Asian Law Students Association, and was active in other affinity groups. Throughout law school, Ridhika worked at a boutique family law firm as a law clerk. For her last year of law school, she interned at the State’s Attorney of Connecticut in the Domestic Violence, Criminal, and Motor Vehicle courts.

Prior to joining McCabe Russell, Ridhika worked as an Associate Attorney at several family law firms handling domestic matters in Maryland. Before becoming an attorney, Ridhika was in the social work field focused on the resettlement of refugee/asylee/special immigrant visa holders in Maryland and Virginia for five years.

While not in the office, Ridhika enjoys hiking, crafting, video games, motorcycles, rock-climbing, and playing with her two cats. Ridhika speaks Hindi and she also classically trained in the Indian dance forms of Bharatanatyam and Kathak.
