Super Lawyers offers an objective rating of “outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.” The organization does not allow attorneys to nominate themselves, and it’s not possible to purchase a spot on the list. Applicants must undergo a rigorous evaluation process, and only 5% of eligible attorneys are selected for Super Lawyers, while Rising Stars only recognizes 2.5% of eligible attorneys and is limited to those who are 40 years old or younger or who have been in practice for fewer than 10 years.
